What is Wrinkling?

Wrinkling is a surface defect where paint cures into a crinkled, wavy texture instead of a smooth film. It occurs when the top layer of paint dries faster than the underlayer—often due to applying paint too thick, painting in direct sun, or applying topcoats over wet primer.
