What is Blistering?

Blistering occurs when bubbles or raised bumps form in paint, caused by trapped moisture or heat underneath. Common triggers include leaks, poor ventilation, or painting over wet surfaces. Simply repainting will not fix it; the underlying moisture source must be identified and resolved before scraping and applying new paint.
