What is Warping?

Warping is the distortion or bending of wooden or composite substrates, caused by uneven moisture absorption, humidity changes, or extreme heat. Painting contractors address warping by repairing or replacing damaged sections and applying sealing primers and protective topcoats on all sides to block future moisture penetration and stabilize the material.
