What is Touch-up?

Touch-up refers to the application of paint to small areas that have been damaged, scuffed, or missed during the original paint job. Successful touch-ups require using the exact same paint color, sheen, and application method as the original coat. Touch-ups can be tricky because paint ages and fades over time, making even a perfect color match appear slightly different from the surrounding wall. Feathering the edges and using the same applicator type helps blend touch-ups more naturally.
