What is Adhesion?

Adhesion is how effectively paint bonds to a surface. If a surface has dirt, grease, or a smooth sheen, paint cannot stick properly, causing it to peel or flake. Cleaning, sanding, and priming remove those barriers, creating a clean, textured surface that the new paint can securely grip.
